Excel For Mac Getpivotdata

HI, I am having difficulties with Excel 2004 for MAC with the Getpivotdata function. The syntax is different between EXCEL 2003 for Windows and MAC 2004. I have constructed a very complex budget of operations dealing with dynamic tables and for some reason whenever i opened the excel file in. The GETPIVOTDATA function returns visible data from a PivotTable. In this example, =GETPIVOTDATA('Sales',A3) returns the total sales amount from a PivotTable: Syntax. GETPIVOTDATA(datafield, pivottable, field1, item1, field2, item2.) The GETPIVOTDATA function syntax has the following arguments.

Excel 2010 Getpivotdata

Excel For Mac Getpivotdata

Excel 2016 Getpivotdata

Trying to use ISERROR and ' (see formula below) to return blanks instead of zeros for a table that holds sales data for the calendar year -- need values for months that have no sales data to register as blanks instead of zeros to ensure accuracy of charts that are based on table.
Am using Excel for Mac 2011.
=IF(ISERROR(GETPIVOTDATA('Sum of Total Price (converted)',$1:$1048576,'Sales Operations Location','US','Close Month','5/1/12')),',GETPIVOTDATA('Sum of Total Price (converted)',$1:$1048576,'Sales Operations Location','US','Close Month','5/1/12'))
Any help that can be provided is much appreciated!
